How do you like your trucks? If your answer is “insanely powerful”, then the VelociRaptor 6X6 concept is the truck for you.

Hennessey Performance is the Texan tuning outfit responsible for making this vehicular behemoth. They firmly believe that more wheels are better, hence the Velociraptor’s six wheels. If you haven’t figured it out by now, the Velociraptor is a massive upgrade over the incoming 2017 Ford Raptor with 450 horsepower.

And for most people, the Ford Raptor is more than enough to satisfy their off-road desires. But the VelociRaptor 6X6 isn’t made for most people.

The truck comes with new 20-inch wheels, beefy front and rear bumpers, bright LED lights, a new rollbar, an upgraded Baja-spec Fox suspension, massive off-road tires and locking rear axles.

If that isn’t enough for you, you can upgrade the VelociRaptor to its ‘600’ specifications. This will get you two larger turbos on the 3.5-liter EcoBoost Twin Turbo V6, which translates to over 600 horsepower. And that’s not all. You also get a better front-mounted air to air intercooler, new tweaks to the exhaust and more.

As for additional options, you can choose between an upgrade to the Brembo rear and front brake, LED lighting upgrades, bigger tires and wheels, armoring systems and bespoke interiors. If the extra wheels don’t excite you, you can also choose to get the engine upgrade while still having four wheels.

But if you don’t have the money to spend on a new VelociRaptor–or if you just prefer the Ford Raptor’s sturdy looks–you can simply get the VelociRaptor 600 twin-turbo upgrade for around $22,500.

The VelociRaptor will cost from $295,000. This is a heck of a lot cheaper than the truck’s competition, the Mercedes-Benz G63 6X6. That car costs over $430,000. Plus it comes with the Raptor SuperCrew donor truck. Hennessey Performance has not confirmed when they will release the VelociRaptor.

However, John Hennessey said that the company will soon receive an early-production Raptor which they will use to build the truck. If the six-wheeled monster interests you, make your order through selected Ford dealers or directly from Hennessey.
