3. Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT

Jeep Grand Cherokee

This one might come as a surprise, it certainly did for me, why? Because generally SUV’s are too big and too heavy and tend to be incredibly slow. But not anymore. The Germans are making their massive gas-guzzlers faster, and American car manufacturers are not being left behind.

The Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT comes with a gargantuan 6.4-litre V8 that gives out 475 horsepower. It goes from 0 to 60 in 4.8 seconds, which is incredible for a car with a curb weight of 5150 lbs.

4. Ford F-450 Super Duty

Power does not always equal speed, and the Super Duty is proof of this. The truck produces 440 horsepower from a 6.7-liter V8. Even though it’s slow, it uses its horses to tow almost anything you can throw at it. It can tow a massive 31,200 pounds, so you know where all the power goes.
