The 6th Annual Mitchell Ostry Memorial Show N Shine in Prague, Nebraska is put on by the Seven Mile Ridez Car Club. Founded in May 2011 by 3 co-founders Brandon Ostry, Tyler Wesely, and Gideon Gillispie the club grew very quickly to 8 members. Within 3 months the 1st Annual Mitchel Ostry Memorial Show N Shine was held in August.
This show honors the memory of Brandon’s Brother Mitchell. Mitchell was an advocate of the custom and classic car hobby and he passed away in his senior year of high school before he could pursue his dream of attending Wyotech.
Each year the Seven Mile Ridez Car Club which has grown to nearly 25 members continues to honor Mitchell’s memory putting on this amazing car show, as well as awarding scholarships to area students.
1964 T-Birds have always brought so much elegance to the table and plenty of muscle under the hood. A really cool feature is the tilt away steering column for easier access for the driver. This one is as nice as they come!
There’s nothing cooler than a luxury car with a cool engine. A 1963 Pontiac Catalina 2+2 says it all, this black beauty with red interior is fully loaded with options including a factory tach and console mounted vacuum gauge. under the hood is a 348 HP 389 engine with the tri-power option.
High-End Street Rods were there in force and this white and silver 1934 Ford Cabriolet Roadster with a rumble seat, and the 1932 Ford Duece 5- window coupe were definitely a pair of show stoppers.
There aren’t enough words to describe this unbelievable 1967 Pontiac Lemans Convertible. This poncho’s punch comes from a 515 HP LS3, backed by a tremec 6-speed, and will leave the best of the best in the dust.
Plymouth Duster’s have always had to take a backseat to the Cuda’s, Challengers, Road Runners, Chargers, and other more prominent muscle cars from the Mopar camp. This Duster was cool enough at first glance, but
under the hood, cool factor goes up with its leaning tower of power slant 6.
This amazing 1954 Chevrolet Corvette was purchased brand new by the owner’s sister and has remained in the family ever since. With 86,335 miles on the clock this amazing survivor was absolutely breathtaking.
At the 6th Annual Mitchell Ostry Memorial Show N Shine, this pair of cool rides were just sitting along the street instead of in the show.
This show is loaded with cool cars, great food, and the best kolaches on the planet so if you are ever in Prague you do not want to miss this show for any reason.
