Attending and documenting car shows has to be one of the best parts of running Daily Rubber. Every show was different and every show had its own vibe. We wanted to recap some of the best shows we went to in 2015 and give you a chance to walk down memory lane with us.

Here are some of the most memorable shows we covered in 2015, starting Pick up and Panels.

I think my wife said it best when she said, “I feel like I have traveled back in time to the 40’s and 50’s when Hot Rods were the next big thing.”

Texas Motor Speedway was transformed into a nostalgic ode to old time cars. There was everything from vintage gasoline pumps, to the random barbecues in front of trailers with cars that stood the test of time set perfectly beside them. Read more here.

One of our goals at Daily Rubber is to really dive into the local car show scene from a down to earth perspective. For one we have been enjoying shows for years and we find that some of the smaller shows can get over looked but they are very promising for awesome cars.

This weekend we headed out about 30 minutes from home to a small town in Highland Village. Read more here

5. Aviall Car Show

Hot Rod

This was a special event because it was a fundraiser benefiting the United Way of Metropolitan Dallas. Hosted by Memory Lane Car Shows you can always expect a great turn out of Muscle Cars and Hot Rods. Read more here.
